As for which plasmid you should use: There really is no limit. Use what you have. At this point in the game it should not be that much anyway. I prefer Incinerate! and Electro Bolt. You also get Security Bullseye at Neptunes Bounty which can be useful but I never really liked using it that much. Just try different things.

Did you photograph the one that was in the room behind the glass when you first got the camera? Because that is where the upper wharf one is. If you missed that one try going back to Peach's and you may draw out the boss type spider splicer you first encountered.
