But the guitar wouldn't stay in tune, even with the graphtech nut and string trees and grover locking tuners -- I spent more time trying to tune the guitar than actually playing it.

Yamaha Pacifica 510V in Old Violin Sunburst. It's a great, simple guitar, which is just what I was looking for. Alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard. Wilkinson trem, Grover locking tuners, Duncan P-Rails trembucker. The neck has a nice back profile, and a 13" radius - not much of a switch from my 12" radius necks that I've recently.
